There is no doubt that in this era of globalization, the world has
become a global village, with nations, corporate and professional
bodies coming together. It is often said that together we stand,
divided we fall.” Jesus emphasized on this when he indicated that a
house divided against itself, will ultimately fall.’ Mark 3:25

In this regard, it is incumbent on Men and Women of God, to come
together and champion the cause of the gospel, as one entity if we
want to remain relevant.
It is in pursuit of this reality that the Holy Spirit, in 1995, laid it upon
the heart of Bishop Dr Charles Abban to bring the Clergy worldwide
together. The vision is to bring integrity and discipline into the everwaning reputation and honor of the Clergy, in a society that is
morally decaying; and equip same to enable them meet the ever
growing social and spiritual challenges.

Restoring Dignity to The Call of God.
. The vision is twofold; firstly, it is meant to bring discipline and integrity to the call of God through peer review mechanisms as enshrined in the Constitution of the Association. “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. *1 COR. 11:31
2. Secondly, the vision is to bring members of the clergy together, so that as one body, we shall advance the course of the Church.
The core objectives of the Association shall be:
i. To act as a regulatory body and advocate on behalf of Ministers of the Gospel.
ii. To aid in licensing and ordination of members who have not had that benefit; and to also assist members who wish to be re-ordained About ICA or licensed.
iii. To organize seminars and conferences for members; in order to bring them up to speed with the changing realities of Ministerial
work.
iv. To promote networking among members through visits,exchange of pulpits, and offer support as far as social events are concerned.
v. To organize regular pilgrimages to Israel.
vi. To promote fellowship and unity among members.
vii. ICA seeks to foster discipline in the body of Christ, taking into cognizance the current moral decadence among many church
Leaders and pastors.
In pursuit of this, every member is expected to observe the following:
viii. Be time conscious and punctual.
ix. Dress appropriately for every meeting and occasion.
X. Maintain a high sense of discipline and morality both in their ministerial and personal lives.
xi. The leadership of the Association reserves the right to suspend the licenses and membership of any member who misconducts
themselves.
